Yacht Machinery and Equipment Refit

KRM Yacht provides engine, machinery, and equipment refit services for superyachts, covering inspection, servicing, overhaul, and replacement scopes for critical onboard systems. Work is typically planned around reliability and access during the yard period, with condition checks used to define whether a system needs targeted repairs, a full overhaul, or complete renewal.

Scopes may include main and auxiliary machinery, generators, pumps, compressors, HVAC related equipment, stabilizer and thruster supporting machinery, and deck equipment such as cranes and davits. Where equipment replacement is part of the refit, attention is given to foundations and alignment, piping and electrical interfaces, and commissioning steps after installation so the system is verified in operating conditions.

Close-out is supported with functional testing and records where applicable, including key measurements, settings, and commissioning notes. The goal is predictable system operation, reduced unplanned downtime, and documentation that supports handover and future maintenance planning.
