KRM Yacht signs contract for Turkey’s largest yacht travel lift

July 24, 2024

KRM Yacht Refit & Rebuild has announced that a contract has been signed with Cimolai Technology for a state-of-the-art 900-ton travel lift at their facility in Viaport Marina, Tuzla.

Scheduled for November 2024, the 900-ton lift will allow KRM Yacht to accommodate vessels up to 70-metres in size at its main facility, making it the largest travel lift in Turkey. The new travel lift will help KRM Yacht to provide high-quality services and facilities to their clients.

”Seven years ago, we made our first purchase from Cimolai Technology—a 300-ton travel lift. Today, we’re proud to continue our partnership with this acquisition of a 900-ton travel lift,” explained Managing Director, Kerem Başer.

KRM Yacht has easy access to authorised services and subcontractors in Turkey, with over 350 marine professionals involved in their operations. Moreover, KRM Yacht offers tax-free services, ensuring a hassle-free experience for their clients.

Located in Tuzla, Istanbul, KRM Yacht provides direct access to Turkey and is within a five-minute walk of extensive amenities, including a shopping mall, hotels, fitness centres, and diverse dining options, alongside many sports facilities.

Just 15 minutes from Sabiha Gökçen Airport, KRM Yacht ensures easy international connectivity, as it is positioned at the bridge between Europe and Asia. Additionally, three ski resorts are within a two-hour drive, ideal for winter sports enthusiasts.
