39m Lady M emerges from six-month refit with KRM Yacht

May 4, 2022

Turkish yard KRM has completed a full-scale refit on 39 metre Fitzroy sailing yacht Lady M.

Beginning at the start of November, the refit comprised both technical and cosmetic upgrades. Chief among the works was a full repainting of the hull and superstructure, a complete interior refresh and the replacement of the teak decking.

On the technical side, Lady M had her electronic and navigational equipment upgraded and her main engines were overhauled. Repair work was carried out throughout the yacht where necessary and her masts were unstepped for essential maintenance.

The client chose KRM Yacht for the refit after visiting the yard and seeing KRMs’ ongoing projects first-hand. The contract was signed within two days.

“We as a KRM family, [are pleased] that our big efforts [have contributed] to the smooth delivery of our projects and the full satisfaction of the client,” commented Kerem Baser, KRM Yacht’s Managing Director commented: “Now we will focus on our remaining projects and will deliver them in the same manner.”

The yard has a number of other projects in the works. These include the 32 meter Heesen Eflin and the 38 metre Wolfoz.

Originally delivered in 2006, Lady M features interior design from RWD and exteriors by Dubois.
