The Story of the Rebuild Project

This beautiful lady had been lying in our marina for nearly 2 years, unattended and neglected. It was heartbreaking to witness such an elegant vessel left behind — until the day everything changed.

About a year ago, we received a call from an architect who wanted to discuss the rebuild of an old Heesen yacht he had spotted at our marina. The moment we heard it, we were excited. He visited our facility the next day and told us his client had purchased the yacht and wanted to bring her back to life — with a full rebuild, like brand new.

They had done a month-long research and were both confident: KRM Yacht was the right place for this transformation.

We immediately connected and shared the same energy from day one. Within two weeks, we had finalized the work list, project planning, and budget. Following a productive presentation meeting, the agreement was signed — and the story began.

Now, 9 months later, we’re thrilled to see M/Y NEWAL taking her final shape. Every stage of the refit brings new excitement. We’re proud of what she has become, and we’ll be submitting this project to international Rebuild Awards.

Fingers crossed!
