The 31 metre Newcastle explorer yacht Just4Us has been hauled out at KRM Refit & Repair for a comprehensive refit that will see her hull extended by four metres. Work on the US-built explorer is expected to take nine months and will include an extension and redesign of the transom area as well as a complete rebuild of her interiors. Other major changes will include a redesigned flybridge deck and enlarging of the lower deck cabin portholes to allow more natural light to filter into the lower deck.

Having entered the KRM refit facility nine months ago in Turkey, the 29 metre Heesen yacht Newal is on track for a fully-fledged refit after lying unattended in a marina for two years. With an estimated duration of 15 months, the work surrounding the refit is substantial, including an entirely new interior, new exterior spaces and 3.6-metre extension. With that, all electric infrastructure, piping systems and engine rooms will also see a complete overhaul.

Turkish yard KRM has completed a full-scale refit on 39 metre Fitzroy sailing yacht Lady M. Beginning at the start of November, the refit comprised both technical and cosmetic upgrades. Chief among the works was a full repainting of the hull and superstructure, a complete interior refresh and the replacement of the teak decking.
