About KRM Yacht

Turkey's first professional facility specialized only superyacht refit and rebuild.
KRM Yacht is a superyacht refit yard in Tuzla, Istanbul focused on refit, rebuild and major upgrade periods for large yachts.
The yard is brought in when the job needs more than berth-side repair or isolated subcontract work. Scope review, engineering development, approvals, workshop coordination, production control, commissioning and redelivery all have to move inside one working route.
KRM supports owners, captains, owner’s representatives and yacht management teams that need a yard able to carry substantial work under one accountable structure.
Over more than 15 years and 200+ delivered projects, KRM has built a working model for demanding yard periods where technical scope, commercial control and handover discipline all have to hold together. KRM works under LRQA-certified quality, environmental management and occupational health and safety systems, and is a member of the ICOMIA Superyacht Refit Group.

Care starts with technical clarity.
The vessel has to be reviewed properly. Scope has to be defined at package level. Approval paths, supplier exposure, access constraints, production sequence and close-out requirements all need to be visible early.
That is the standard KRM applies from the start of the yard period. The aim is a yacht that moves through the yard with control and leaves with the job properly closed.
Built Around Yard Execution
KRM operates from Tuzla, one of the strongest marine production and supply bases in the region.
That location supports yard periods where lift capacity, workshop access, specialist attendance, supplier reach, inspections and repeated owner-side decisions all affect project control.
Inside the yard, project management, engineering support, workshop production and specialist subcontract work are kept under one delivery structure. That gives the owner side a clearer route through scope development, approvals, fabrication, installation, commissioning and redelivery.

Why KRM Yacht?
A Core Team Built for Refit & Rebuild
KRM’s core team includes project managers, engineers, naval architects, survey-facing technical staff, technicians and craftsmen working exclusively in refit and rebuild.
When the scope expands, that team is reinforced by long-term specialist partners already used to KRM’s standards, reporting lines and production rhythm.
This keeps outside capacity inside the yard structure instead of turning the project into disconnected packages.
Letter from the Director
"Good refit work depends on skilled hands, honest budgeting and delivery on the date agreed."
KRM Yacht was established specifically for superyacht refit and rebuild. We did not come into this work through general shipyard activity and add refit later. The company was set up for complex yard periods that need technical depth, careful planning and direct accountability.
Owners, captains and management teams usually arrive with the same concerns: whether the scope will stay under control, whether decisions will be made quickly enough, and whether the final cost will still resemble the original plan by the time the yacht leaves the yard.
Our job is to reduce that uncertainty. We plan the work properly, track progress closely and keep the owner’s side informed throughout the project. Through View Your Yacht, clients can also follow progress remotely at any time.
The work itself ranges across machinery, structural repairs, paint, electrical and electronic systems, piping, cooling and air-conditioning, interiors and upholstery. Some disciplines are handled by our in-house teams. Others are supported by specialist partners we have worked with for years and whose standards we know well.
We have built KRM on straightforward principles: competent workmanship, clear reporting, disciplined budgets and delivery when promised. That is the standard we expect on every project.
Discuss the Next Yard Period with KRM Yacht
If an upcoming refit, rebuild or upgrade period needs early scope review, approval mapping or project control, we can start from the vessel, the likely package boundaries and the working route to handover.
