KRM Yacht Refit & Repair completes S/Y Lady M refit

14.04.2023

Turkish yard KRM Yacht Refit & Repair has completed the refit of well-known sailing yacht Lady M at its facility in Istanbul. The six-month project began in November 2021 after her owner selected KRM Yacht to carry out the works ahead of two other yards.

The 39-metre (128-foot) sailing yacht underwent a number of improvements during her stay. KRM Yacht’s team undertook full painting of the hull and superstructure, refreshed the interior, replaced the teak decking, upgraded the electronic system and navigational equipment, and repaired and polisaged all of the exterior stainless steel parts.

Lady M also had her mast repaired, gensets and main engines overhauled, and all mechanical equipment maintained.

Alex Kafka, captain of Lady M, said, “I was pretty sure that KRM would deliver all the works above the standards after I saw ongoing and newly delivered projects, but I was also convinced that KRM will deliver the project just on time after I saw how dedicated they are.”

Kerem Baser, managing director of KRM Yacht, added, “We as a KRM family, forget all of our big efforts and tiredness after a smooth delivery of our projects, especially with the full satisfaction of the client. Now we will focus our remaining projects and will deliver them in the same manner.”
